I’m Ileenja, a destination wedding and event photographer drawn to storytelling, atmosphere and human connection.

I’m genuinely grateful you’re here, and that something in my work made you pause long enough to want to know more. That already says a lot. Photography has been my full-time world for over eight years, and it still feels like a privilege. To be invited into moments that carry so much meaning, to witness them closely, and to translate them into something lasting. It’s work that asks for sensitivity, presence and intuition, and that is exactly what continues to inspire me.

My approach is calm and observant. I photograph from within the moment, not from a distance. I’m drawn to what unfolds naturally. The energy in a space, the quiet in between, the details that often go unnoticed but hold the feeling of the day. Always with an editorial eye, yet never at the cost of honesty. I want your images to feel like you. Refined, natural, and something you will recognise years from now.

Originally from the Netherlands, my work has taken me across different places and cultures. I’m now based in Marrakech, a city that continues to shape my perspective with its light, textures and rhythm. Through Frame Tales Studio, I photograph weddings and events in Morocco, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands and beyond.

What matters most to me is how you feel within it all.

Before anything else, I want you to feel at ease, understood and comfortable in my presence. When that trust is there, everything flows differently. More naturally, more honestly. That’s when the most meaningful images are created. I’m there as a calm presence throughout your day. Observing, guiding gently when needed, and allowing you to fully be in the moment, without feeling watched or directed.
