Adam & Lou’s Wedding in Amsterdam, Netherlands | Frame Tales Studio

Some love stories take a little longer to find their way. Then one day, you’re holding hands on a bridge in Amsterdam, just married to your favourite person. For Adam & Lou, this was that day.

The morning began at a friend’s beautiful home. Adam wore a black suit, and Lou chose a glittering gold Jenny Packham dress. A little unexpected, completely her, and I freaking loved it. Then it was on to the Ferry, where their friends sang during the ceremony and Lou surprised Adam with a song at the piano. Handwritten love notes at dinner and a big party brought it all together.

Photographing their Amsterdam wedding meant capturing both the beautifully composed portraits and the moments that unfolded naturally. Lou resting her head against Adam, the way they held each other, their friends swept up in the celebration. That mix of editorial wedding photography and candid moments is what I love to document: photographs that bring you back to how it all felt.
